🌱 Giving Back, One Yard at a Time 🌱

For the past two years, Malaga Garden Center & Landscaping has had the privilege of giving back through a free landscaping clean-up project—first with a local church, then with a family in need.

This year, we’re continuing the tradition… and we need your help. 💚

We’re accepting community nominations for a FREE landscaping clean-up for yourself, a friend, family member, or neighbor, a local business or nonprofit, someone you know who could truly use a helping hand!

✨ How to nominate:

Fill out our Google Form (link below) and include:

• A photo of the area needing cleanup

• A short explanation of why you’re nominating them

🗓 Nominations close March 1

🏆 Recipients who meet qualifications will be entered into a drawing and randomly selected by the end of March.

The selected recipient will be contacted directly by email from us. With permission, we’ll also announce the winner—and the nominator—on Facebook.

💬 Why we do this:

We may not have the advertising budgets of big corporations, but we do have skilled crews, strong work ethic, and a deep love for our community. This is our way of giving back—by using our talents to make a real impact close to home.

We will never ask for payment, personal information, or send private messages requesting anything. All official communication will come directly from Malaga Garden Center & Landscaping.

Project Information and Details

Nomination Requirements:

You may nominate yourself or someone else, including an individual, family, nonprofit organization, or local business in need of a landscaping refresh.

All nominations must be submitted through the official nomination form and include all required information listed on the form, including a photo and the address of the area being nominated. Incomplete submissions may not be considered.

Selection Process:

Nominations that meet the qualifications for this project will be entered into a drawing. One recipient will be randomly selected by the end of March. Project suitability is determined based on need, scope, and overall feasibility.

Important Information:

This promotion applies to softscaping projects only, such as cleanup, planting, mulching, and landscape refreshes. Hardscaping projects (including patios, decks, retaining walls, or concrete work, etc) are not included.

Photos of the completed project may be shared on MALAGA GARDEN CENTER & LANDSCAPING social media.

The Project winner and MGC will agree on work to be completed in advance. The winner will grant MGC access to the property during agree upon work hours. (M-S 7am-8pm unless otherwise agreed), MGC will supply equipment and materials for the project and the winner will not be asked to financially contribute in any way. MGC equipment may remain on site and the winner agrees to not interfere with these. The winner responsible for keeping pets and people out of the work area, marking any down or buried lines, wires, pipes, etc. and property lines.

If selected, the property owner agrees to allow a MALAGA GARDEN CENTER & LANDSCAPING sign to be displayed on the property for up to two weeks following project completion.
